Wenn eine Sirius unsere Werft verlässt und ihre Reise zum neuen Heimathafen antritt, beginnt ein besonders verantwortungsvoller Teil der Übergabe. Seit 1996 vertrauen wir dabei auf Uli Faltus und das Team von Faltus & Bantje Yachttransporte.

Eine neue Sirius entsteht über viele Monate in sorgfältiger Handarbeit. Zahlreiche Menschen arbeiten daran, jedes Detail so umzusetzen, wie es sich die zukünftigen Eigner wünschen. Wenn die Yacht schließlich fertiggestellt ist, geprüft wurde und unsere Werft in Plön verlässt, geben wir sie deshalb nicht einfach an irgendeinen Transportdienstleister weiter. Wir vertrauen sie einem Partner an, der unsere Yachten, unsere Arbeitsweise und unseren Anspruch seit Jahrzehnten kennt.

Farewell to Klaus Peter Schmidt – Visionary, Boatbuilder, and Founder of Sirius-Yachts

It is with deep sadness that we bid farewell to Klaus Peter Schmidt, founder of Sirius-Werft, who passed at the age of 84, after a brief but serious illness. With his passing, German boatbuilding loses not only a passionate sailor and visionary entrepreneur from the early days of fiberglass yacht construction, but also a true maverick. Since 1970, he created not only many popular cruising yachts but also, in the 1980s, pioneered the deck saloon concept.
