Our yachts combine individual craftsmanship with sophisticated technology and sail all over the world. To keep their technical systems running reliably, we are looking for an experienced technician to join our service team – either as an employee or as an independent contractor.
You will handle technical work on our yachts, troubleshoot issues, and professionally perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to a professional standard. You will work independently while collaborating closely with our service team and colleagues at the shipyard.
When interacting with our owners, you represent Sirius Yachts. With your technical expertise and professional manner, you ensure that they feel their yacht is in good hands.
Your responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our yachts
- Diagnosing and resolving technical malfunctions /faults
- Testing and commissioning technical systems
- Installing, replacing, and upgrading mechanical and electrical components
- Assisting/supporting with new deliveries and warranty work
- Coordinating with our service team and colleagues at the shipyard
- Providing competent and reliable support to our owners
- Handling the yachts and our customers’ property with the utmost care
What we are looking for
- Technical or skilled-trade qualifications, for example as a boatbuilder, yacht technician, yacht electronics technician, electrician, mechatronics technician or in a comparable profession
- Alternatively, verifiable professional experience in yacht, boat, or marine engineering
- In-depth knowledge of the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of technical systems
- The ability to work independently, with a solution-oriented approach, and with meticulous attention to detail
- High standards of quality and confidence in handling high-end yachts
- A courteous and professional manner when interacting with our owners
- Reliability, the ability to work well in a team, and clear communication skills
- Willingness to become familiar with the technical specifics of our yachts
